2018 FEATURED ARTIST - Steve Knox
After five distinct careers, most involving immersion in ideas, nature and making, Steve Knox became ensorcelled by light, color and geometry. His work is a direct result of this enchantment. Additional inspiration for Steve's work comes from a myriad of sources some of which include; the world's cathedrals, mosques, synagogues as well as secular architectural glass, Plato, Goethe, Gyorgy Doczi, the pre-socratic philosophers, Tiffany's installations at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He holds degrees in Philosophy, Environmental Science, Architecture and Education, all of which inform his experience of Art.
Steve's work can be seen at the Romero Street Gallery and the Copper Top Gallery in Old Town Albuquerque, as well as the Wind River Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
